Hunger is a very real problem right here in our community.

YOU are a part of the solution.

  • Going hungry makes kids sick.  As a result, they miss more days of school and are less prepared to learn when they are able to attend.
  • Malnourished children are more likely to have poorer mental health, be withdrawn or socially disruptive, and suffer greater rates of behavioral disorders.
  • Hungry children show higher levels of aggression, hyperactivity, and anxiety, and often have difficulty getting along with other children.
  • Under-nutrition can limit a child's ability to grasp basic skills and overall learning potential.
  • Hungry students have lower test scores and poorer overall school achievement.

With just $5, YOU can feed a hungry child for one weekend.

With $200, YOU can feed a child for an entire school year.
