in our country and in our county.


1 in 5 Americans are considered functionally illiterate.
43 million Americans are high school dropouts. 
High school graduates earn $143 more per week than high school dropouts.
College graduates earn $479more per week than high school dropouts.

85% of the juveniles in the NC Court System are high school dropouts.
Over 75% of NC state prison inmates are high school dropouts.
